BBQ at Tone's in the afternoon - lighting-up time is 2.00pm, so meet in town at the 'Floozie in the Jacuzzi' around 1.30pm to catch the 126 to Tone's. (Outside Lloyds TSB on Broad St (by Registrars office) or down Hill street.
7.30pm - somewhere up town and who cares as long as there's alcohol!!!!!!
The chaps (Simbers, Steve, Ian, Rog, Phil & Chap) arrived at Tone & Jo's around 2.00pm, some of us with our better halves in tow (Di, Fran & Jan) to celebrate Rog's birthday and also the first cup final at the 'New Wemberley'. We dined out on the Tone Terrace with plenty of pig, cow, chicken & alcohol being consumed. Luckily we managed to avoid most of the showers and stayed out side only having a passing interest as to what was going on in the footy. Tone also provided some of his speciality coffees whilst waiting for the transport back into town.
We headed of to the Shakespeare where Mr Fish finally made an appearance (something about a church bizarre in the morning, methinks!!) and Steve re-appearing, minus Fran who was having to re-apply for her job at the silly NHS!!.
The Shakespeare proved an interesting night with Phil receiving a 'private' back massage from Di, who later fell asleep in the corner and him being involved in various discussions to do with sexual deviancy such as 'Tea-bagging', 'Bag-piping' and the replacement phrase for 'a dog with hot chips' - 'A seagull in a rubbish bin!!'.
Simbers took a sleepy Di home around 9.00pm, followed shortly by Tone, Jo and Rog. the remaining chaps held on until closing time (around 11.30pm) before Ian, Chap 7 Jan headed for home leaving Dave, Steve & Phil to go is search of...........
...... who knows.
