Meet in the Old Contemptibles around 5.30pm unless anybody knows of any sporting events to watch?
Open to suggestions
Chap arrived first at the OC's and was quietly supping a pint of rather nice St Austell IPA outside when Ian and Sim arrived. We were joined in the proceedings shortly after by Dave, Phil, Nige, Louise, Tone and Jo to continue the binge drinking onslaught so much discussed by our beloved Government!!. Various ales were consumed in what was rather a longer stint at the OC's due to the rain making it less 'user-friendly' to move elsewhere. Plenty of topics of conversation where had ranging from the 'Molly-Kevin' love tryst in Corrie, how boring and gloomy Eastenders was as well as Simber's admitting to his latest vice, using the services of an 'ironing whore' at the bargain rate of £1.50 per shirt!!. (something along the lines of once tried you're hooked - whatever that means!!).
Next and last port of call for most was Edmunds. A bit more lively than normal with a DJ. We settled down for more beer and discussion to while away the late evening hours. Sim bailed out first having to get home early in preparation for a long trip to Borneo, followed by Chap & Ian who had knocked back quite a few sherbets by then. Tone & Jo left for home leaving the rest of the motley crew to head for some rock bar in the library complex.
