Meet in Edmunds 5.30 - 6.00pm
Simbers and Tone were first to arrive, Tone having got off the plane back from Spain at 3.00pm in the afternoon!!. Chap, Dave, Phil, Steve H. and Trevor soon followed. Plenty of ale consumed and discussion as normal as well as some of the chaps showing their advancing years by talking about pensions!!. Chap, Ian & Simbers also came to the conclusion that draught Bass was a particular fury head producing substance after Phil's' birthday bash.
Dave being the session meister decided to head off to Chameleon bar on Hill Street, the chaps have not been in this venue for a while (under different names) and we did not get in again, well the visit was curtailed due to Phil's rather over casual attire. Plan B was put in to operation and we headed the 500 yards or so down to the Railway (formerly Sam Weller's). The place has picked up in terms of numbers in there, but the clientele are somewhat reminiscent of the 'Billy-Bob Phones 4U' adverts. The chaps had a few beers in here and then started to drift off home.
Phil, Chap, Steve H, Dave and Trev headed off to the Island bar for a few more beers, or in Steve's case cocktails. Steve and Chap headed off home leaving Dave, Phil and Trevor to head for the A & B as the last port of call.
