7.30pm - wherever the Beer Scooter takes us !!!!!!
The Chaps set off into town after a nail biting end of season game against Sunderland. Needing a victory to guarantee Premiership status, it was left to marvellous Marcus (Allback) to secure the points with a goal 10 minutes from time.
Dave, Heggy, Simbers & Chap lobbed on the bus and made their way to the Hogs Head where Nige was all ready in residence. Steve & Ted followed shortly after and the Chaps settled down to consume various ales and reminisce about barge trips and other Chap activities. (Picture). Simbers only stayed for a short while, but left the 'Simbers Mound' on the chair which prompted furious discussion on whether he was a 'tight arse' or just had firmer butt checks due to all his skiing activity than most of the Chaps. One vital question came out of the discussions, Is Tone the new Jonesey ????, based on his recent exploits.
The Chaps then decided to move up Broad Street to O'Neill's where more beer was consumed as well as the usual mirth and merriment. Heggy looked very pissed at one stage and we the book was opened on if he would survive until the A & E. Steve went mad with his digital camera taking pictures of the chaps in various poses and also of a large group of women dressed as nurses, well what else would one expect. Steve also set an incredible drinking pace which left most of the Chaps lagging behind !!!!
The time came when the Chaps got a couple of Joey's to the A & E. Here more beer was consumed whilst listening to a not to un reasonable band. Chap beat Dave at pool, but then subsequently lost himself. Heggy disappeared shortly afterwards leaving Nige to chat up some women at the bar (not to successfully). Dave, left & then came back looking the worse for wear (had he had a crafty barf outside ?). After a few more ales, the remaining five (Chap, Dave, Nige, Steve & Ted) left to go to Sharma's for a ruby. Yes Steve had successfully survived this far to make the curry, and it's a good job he did to take some interesting photos.

Piling in the Sharma's for the usual excellent fodder, Dave made the FATAL mistake of falling asleep. Can't remember the last time one of the Chaps did this, but the others (bastards!!) took fully advantage. Picture 1, Picture 2, Picture 3.
What else are friends for !!!. A good time was had by all, and remember the old adage, Man who falls asleep in Curry House gets the Naan on the head !!!!.
