7.30pm - onwards and upwards?? wherever the wing-ed one takes us, but probably ending up in the Adam & Eve later
Ian & Chap arrived at the OR at 4.00pm after a guided tour of the Back to back houses in Hurst Street by Tour guide Simbers. The other chaps Nige, Tone, Ted, Phil, Heggy, Dave, Steve arrived in due course, tour guide Simbers arriving after chucking everybody out of the B2B's. Large volumes of ale were consumed as is par for the course before we decided to head for pastures new at a rather late hour of 9.00pm, this being due to his Tonyship waiting for Jo to appear (incidentally and too no surprise he failed to follow in our footsteps). Ian also bailed at this time after a bit of a pacy session with Chap.
Nige's birthday tour continued down Hurst street at the Old Fox (opposite the B2B's and where Chap had sneaked an earlier beer before the tour!!).Here more beer was consumed, Chap and Steve had an encounter with the pub nutter and the Chaps watched amused as the constabulary moved on a bunch of Chav's!!!!.
Shortly before eleven the Chaps - minus Simbers commandeered a couple of joeys to head for the Adam & Eve, Here we had a couple more jars whilst listening to a reasonable band strut their stuff, before finally succumbing to the lure of Sharma's for the traditional birthday supper.
The food was up to it's usual standard and Nige avoided winning the curry 'Easter Bonnet' parade for a change, in fact everybody remained upright even if Chap was struggling to avoid the dreaded curry house lomb!!
