Chap joined Rog in the OR shortly after 5.30pm, we were soon joined by Simbers, Ian, Dave, Nige, Phil, Tone and Ted. The match entertainment was not what you would normally choose to watch (Manure vs Crystal Palace) but it provided a backdrop to the general chap banter and beer consumption that was taking place. This proved to be a some what quieter session than normal and as David 'Bond' Bailey was not available due to other commitments, no photos were available either. Anyway, a few beers were consumed up until around 8.30pm where it was decided to head for the Reflex on Hurst street. Tone and Rog hereby made their 'church bazaar' excuses and left the rest of the Chaps to head off for pastures new.

The wheels came off the wagon at this point as the door lady at the Reflex was insisting on a zero tolerance policy against bald men wearing steel toe-capped boots, hence Dave was not allowed in so we had to go for plan B. Although Simbers tried to drag us into the Old Fox, the rest of the Chaps were having none of this and headed for O'Neill's. Here a live band played whilst the Chaps consumed a mixture of beers :- Guinness, Bitter, Lager and Cider (including Simbers sampling the apple nectar & the odd cigar!!). Time passed by and Simber's & Ian left to catch the last train home, whilst Phil insisted we stay for a final beer whilst he listened to the band.

Around 11.30pm the remaining Chaps lobbed in a taxi up to the Adam & Eve - again a few more beers were necked and more live music was listened too before the curry house came calling. Chap, Dave, Nige and Ted (who was on his last night out whilst residing in Brum) headed for Sharma's for the usual feast of culinary delights whilst Dave discussed the cousin marrying escapades of people from Spalding with Ted. Phil had remained in the A & E for the live music. We left after the scoff wishing Ted good wishes at his new abode in Derby.
