Chap, Jan, Alex, Phil, Nige & Phil met up at the OR for a few pre-rounders beverages before heading for Dorridge Park by train.
Arriving at Simber's we were joined by other like minded sporting chaps (and some not so!!) to participate in the annual Dorridge paralytic-Olympics before the BBQ later in the day. The match involved 3 rubbers the first easily won by team A, the second by team B and the final round again to the over-all winners was team A. Phil (again) won the best bloke prize, probably due to the fact that big T was not around to knobble him. An enjoyable afternoon was had.
The BBQ was as usual a fine extravaganza provided by our hosts Di & Sim and cooked by father & son Chap & Alex. Plenty of ale, good food, excellent weather made for a super day.
