Meet in the Old Royal around 5.30pm
7.30pm - wherever the Gruesome twosome decide !!!!!!
After a boring and gutless 0 - 0 draw at the Villa, much beer was needed to set things right. The Chaps, Rog, Tone, Chap, Steve W. Simbers, Phil & Steve B., met up at the Old Royal to start off the evening's proceedings. As no footy was on (the Arse v Pompey game being postponed) we had to resort to drinking, smoking & chatting. We got on to the subject of the North and South poles changing according to SteveB. this was inspired by Steve W's phone with a GPS compass on it - even the Coriolis effect came into the conversation - educated chaps you know!!!!. After many beers and topics of conversation it was time to head for pastures new.
The Actress & Bishop was chosen for the next port of call. The Chaps got stuck into some more beer (Ruddles & Abbotts for the sensible beer drinkers amongst us!!) whilst getting the usual thrashing from the quiz machine,, oh how the mighty have fallen!!!. We also met up with a few old faces from the good old Sam Weller's days (Jimmy & his two mates) whilst Phil had a close encounter with the 'Looper-trooper'!!, and Dave grew some hair. A good night was had by all and one by one people drifted off into the sunrise. As this place is a fair distance from Shah's or alternative curry shops no mention of food came up. (Although Chap did manage a last minute pie from good old Marco's!!)
