Review
Simber's, Sponge and Chap assembled at the Kynoch Social Club for 3,4 and 5 beers respectively.
The match provided limited entertainment as most of the Villa players had one eye on next weeks' FA Cup semi final, but we one 2-0 with goals from Beni and Georgi B.
The Chaps then nabbed a black cab up into town (Fishy seemed to think he was breaking some EC financial regulation by giving the taxi driver a twenty pound note for the fare !!!!.)
First point of call was the Bacchus bar for the essential steak sandwich, washed down with a few jars for Worthington's and Carling.
The Chap's then ventured to pastures new - The Jam House in St Paul's Square (frequented by the Singing Villa manager - Mr. Gregory) . The place charges three quid to get in at 7.30pm and then charges extortionate prices for ale. However, the Chap's decided to stay for a few after paying the entrance fee. The place is not an ideal session pub !!!!!!!!.
Finally, Simber's, Jellywise and Chap went to the Hogshead for some reasonably priced REAL ale.
Sponge sidled of rather quietly.
Heggy, Fishy and Phil were left at the Jam House on the vodka and Red Bull.
All in all a rather subdued night, maybe the Chaps had on eye on next week !!!!!!
